Channing Tatum believes that dads have one main purpose when their little one is born: diaper duty and being a novice is no excuse.

Before becoming a father, the actor confessed to people, “I have never changed a diaper before, so I may need some help learning. I hope I don’t have any problems where the diaper falls off and the baby poops on the ground.”

Channing Tatum and his wife Jenna Dewan just celebrated their daughter’s 1st birthday. He stated by this time he has become a pro in the diaper duty; he stated: “If a guy isn’t good at changing a diaper, I don’t know what he’s there for, really, ’cause they’re not there for the first seven months for any other reason than to do that because the mom is the end-all, be-all of everything.” He added, “My daughter does not like sitting still, and I can do the whole thing while she’s crawling, standing up. I’m pretty solid at it!”
Well this is very sweet of him but do you think most Nigerian husbands will agree to change their baby’s diapers? Personally I do not see the big deal in it as it is the least he can do.

Luckily for me, my husband did it well when our son was much younger but now that he is approaching 2 he hardly does it. LOL!!!

Share with us your experience on daddy diaper duty. OR What would you say a dad’s number one job is with a new-born?
